Spring Football-Go Tigers!

The Saltillo Tigers had their first spring football game Thursday afternoon. Upcoming 9th graders faced Pontotoc at SHS. Jason was looking forward to the game after a few weeks of practice with a strong freshman group. The newest Tigers played a great game, finishing with a win of 14-0. Varsity has a spring game in a few weeks against Pontotoc as well-we're hoping for another great win. Go Tigers!!!

Life Lately

Life lately has been great, just really busy! I apologize for not posting in so long. We are enjoying getting settled in our new house; once things are a little more in their place, I'll post photos! John is a growing and busy little boy. He is moving and kicking all the time! I have been feeling great-I certainly can't complain about pregnancy. Jason has been very busy with spring football, which began a few weeks ago. The Tigers have two upcoming spring games-I know they'll do great! We're looking forward to the end of school/beginning of summer, which is just around the corner. Only 100 more days until John's due date, although I can't help but think he may decide to make a slightly earlier appearance! He's been measuring a week and two days ahead of schedule, so we'll see. We hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Spring Break-New Orleans

We had a wonderful Spring Break week in New Orleans. We went for the National Science Teachers' Association conference, where Jason was a presenter. Neither of us had visited New Orleans before, and here a few photos highlighting our trip. We had a great time!

On March 6th we had a wonderful gathering of family and friends at the The Grill. After a great dinner, Mom opened the envelope sealed the day before by the sonogram tech. to reveal we are having a boy! We're so, so excited! John Douglas Pannell will be here in July! Here are some photos from that fun night, as well as a sweet sonogram picture of John!

Our House-Still for Sale

Unfortunately the person who put in a contract on our house was unable to get his loan...so our house is back on the market. Please spread the word-a great two bedroom, two bath house in the Joyner area. The asking price is $83,000. Thank you for your help!
