Birthday, Sam's and School

We enjoyed spending the morning with Andrew yesterday to celebrate his second birthday!

We ended our outing with a little Sam's trip. Then it was time to head home for naps and to get ready for the week!

We have had a busy few weeks with school starting. Jason and I are both having a great year so far...he has a lot of great students and my class is absolutely precious! They are SO excited to be in Pre-K and are ready to learn-I even have a few writing and ready to read!!! We both hope the rest of the year continues as good as it has started! John and Elizabeth start back to school the Tuesday after Labor Day...this weekend we are looking forward to a little rest and relaxation at Darden. After that, we will be celebrating a sweet girl's first birthday...check back for posts soon!

Sunday School Promotion

A few weeks ago John was promoted to the 2 year old Sunday School class. He missed the following Sunday because he and E. had had fever off and on a couple of days before. He had a great time last Sunday for his first real day of Sunday School!
He was also promoted to the toddler nursery, where he goes after Sunday School while we are in church. Although he was pretty uncooperative for this photo, he loves the sweet ladies in there, Ms. Deborah and Ms. Sandra. They are so loving!
Did you notice his busted chin? He had a little collision in SS with a toy!
Elizabeth has been going to the infant nursery since she was two weeks old. I had never gotten a photo with the precious ladies in there, but grabbed one last week. Please notice her mouth-she has this new expression where she makes her eyes big and her mouth in an "O"-also, don't you love her toes escaping her sandal??? She is a busy little girl!!!
We love Ms. Jamila, Ms. Bridgett and Ms. Martha. Sweethearts!!!

Look Who's Walking!

Or at least pushing! Elizabeth has taken a few steps holding on to the push toy and our hands, but none by herself yet. We know when she does things will be even busier with two mobile babies! Getting ready to be one is fun!

Eleven Months

Elizabeth was eleven months old yesterday. You know what that means...I can't believe this baby girl will be one next month! She is precious!

Promotion Sunday

Today was promotion Sunday at church-John is officially in Sunday School! We had a fun program this morning with a local ventriloquist and a circus theme-as you can see, John was very intent on it (at times-the rest of the time he was in motion!) Afterwards, we helped guide the 2 year olds back to their classroom where we played and got to know each other. Jason and I, along with two other couples, are rotating teaching their class. We are looking forward to a great year in Sunday School!

Happy Birthday, Boss!

Boss's birthday is today, but we celebrated yesterday when some family was in town. Of course John loved helping her open her gift and blow out her candle! We are so thankful for a wonderful mother and grandmother.

A Tent and a Movie

We had a great time at the Baker's Friday night...John, Lauren, Sarah and George Menetre were in, out, up and over the tent. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did!
