Memorial Day 2012

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Darden. Lots of good food, family and fun! John and Elizabeth loved the beach more than ever, and John especially loved riding on Big Daddy's "fast boat." Best of all, John "lost" his pacifier our first night there, and hasn't asked for it since! We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day, too!

Summer!

After a few days of school wide planning at my school, and Jason wrapping up his school year, summer is here-and oh,we are excited! We are headed to Darden today for a few days of water, food and fun. Check back next week for photos! Here's just a couple from lately. Look who is done with the high chair and in a booster seat now, and who sits like a big boy by himself!

End of School Fun!

John and Elizabeth celebrated their last day of school a couple of weeks ago. John's class had a fun water and pizza party!

We loved having Mrs. Debbie and will miss her and their family, but are happy for them and their new life in Amory!

This is my precious assistant, Mrs. Sykes, and me on the last day of school as we moved into our new classroom down the hall. She puts up with all of my crazy ideas, and is willing to do ANYTHING we need. She is the BEST-I love her!

Gumtree/Mother's Day Weekend

We had a wonderful Gumtree/Mother's Day weekend a few weeks ago! We enjoyed the Curlee's annual breakfast, then playing with Reagan at her birthday party on the church playground. Next we made our way to the Gumtree festival to hear Uncle Matt play-he won third place in the singer/songwriter contest, and he was awesome! We enjoyed Mother's Day lunch at Jamie's house on Sunday, and when we got home, my Mother's Day surprise was waiting-a beautiful piece of art from the festival! It was a wonderful weekend!
