Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We are very thankful.

Two Months

Elizabeth was two months old November 9th. Her 8 week stats were 12.3 pounds and 23 inches...we certainly don't have frail babies! Elizabeth is so mature, and has always acted older than her age, even from birth. Maybe it's because she's the second baby or because she's a girl...not sure, but she is the sweetest, easiest baby! She is getting on a good schedule (you know I love a schedule!) E. (as it looks like she will be known-John's given name to her) is eating four times a day, and is sleeping 10 hours at night. She still sleeps a lot during the day, but her naps are getting more predictable. She holds her head up really well, and smiles and laughs all the time, especially at her hilarious big brother! She loves to cuddle and is such a joy!

A Few Funnies

Just a few fun shots of John and Elizabeth lately!

Reeves' Birthday Party

John and his buddies had so much fun at Reeves Kinney's birthday party last Saturday!

Four Elizabeths

Four generations of Elizabeths! My grandmother is Mabel Elizabeth, mom is Elizabeth Ann, I'm Katherine Elizabeth and baby Elizabeth Scott. This was Elizabeth's first visit to Traceway to meet Big Mama.

Halloween Week and Starkville

We enjoyed LOTS of Halloween fun last week! Wednesday night was Trunk or Treat at church. Our Sunday School class decorated a van, and the parking lot was packed with children from church and the neighborhood nearby. John enjoyed watching the trick or treaters, but he doesn't really know candy exists yet...and we plan to keep it that way until next year! He wore his ghost costume off and on...

and ended up going home with a scratched nose and bruised forehead after a spill on the concrete. Sweet boy cried about two minutes and then kept right on going.

Elizabeth slept through it all! She wore John's pumpkin costume from last year.

Thursday night we ventured downtown for their trick or treat festivities. We joined the Agnews, and John and Andrew had a big time, as always. The ghost was not participating that night!

Saturday we enjoyed a fun afternoon in Starkville at Elizabeth Stewart's second birthday party at her family's tailgate. This was John and Elizabeth's first trip to State, and we all had so much fun. John loved seeing the Dawg Walk and he really enjoys ringing his cowbell-responsibly, of course.
Elizabeth slept during most of the party.
We didn't take the babies into the game-we're not quite brave enough for that yet. Possibly next year! The sweet birthday girl trying to give John a goodbye kiss-he was not interested!

The babies with their Halloween treats from Mom & Dad, Boss, and Bo & Big Daddy. What a fun week!
