Go State!

John loves those Dawgs!

Stop. Paci Time.

John LOVES his pacifer. What you can't see here is the one he is hiding in his "pocket" on his bouncy seat. He is getting close to learning how to put it in himself-oh, what a red letter day that will be!

Early Bird

John loves hanging out with his Dad before Jason gets ready for school!

Sunday Fun

Last Sunday was John's first day to go to church! It was so great to be back and be a part of worship again. He had a wonderful time in the nursery, and as you can see, was well cared for by Ms. Martha and the other sweet nursery workers.

After lunch, we took John to visit my grandmother, Big Mama, for the first time. Since she lives at The Greenhouses at Traceway, we waited until he had his shots before taking him. She is his only living great-grandparent, and it was wonderful to see them together. We also snapped this family photo while there.

As you can see, when we returned home Sunday afternoon, John was out like a light from a busy and fun day!

Fun on My Tummy

I caught these photos earlier today of John having a blast on his tummy time mat.

Two Months!

John was two months old on Sunday! As you can see from his photo, he is Mr. Personality (and a little sleepy-it was almost nap time.) He grows and changes so much each day and we are loving every minute of it! We can't believe he's already two months old-where does the time go?! And what a difference a month makes! I dressed him in the same outfit I made his one month photo in, which is almost too small now. :)

Happy Boy and Holding My Bottle

I made this photo yesterday morning before heading to Dr. Nabors' office for Johns's eight week check up and shots. He weighs 13.08 pounds and is 23 inches! He is in the 95th percintile for weight and height for his age. He was not too happy during his exam, and then came the SHOTS! Of course he loved the yummy cherry flavored vaccine-ate it all and wanted more! However, once the sweet nurse began putting his band-aids in place, he started crying, which only grew and grew during the shots. He did so well overall though, and had a pretty good afternoon and night. He was a little fussy still today, but seemed like his usual sweet self again tonight. Luckily he never ran fever, and of course he never missed a meal!

After we arrived home from Dr. Nabors' office yesterday, John took his noon bottle. I was able to catch this photo of him holding his bottle by himself-I promise my hand was not on it! As you can see, he loves to eat!

Strollin' with the Girls

John and I enjoy walking with Tracy and Ellie Behm and Jennifer and Caroline Strunk. I decided to snap a photo after a walk last week. As you can see, the sweet girls were being lovely, and John was screaming his head off because the stroller stopped moving! Hopefully he'll have better manners tomorrow!

Go Tigers!

The Saltillo Tigers kicked off their season almost three weeks ago against Mooreville. The Tigers pulled out a win, and went on to beat Caledonia last Thursday night, starting the season 2-0. We're up against Baldwyn this Friday night; hopefully the great team work will continue! John says "GO TIGERS!!!"

My Football PJs

How cute are John's football pjs? Thanks Coach Stevenson and Jessie for these!
