Our sweet boy even knew to dip the spoon in the fruit after the veggies, because it makes Elizabeth eat it better that way! And how appropriate her bib says "I Love my Big Brother"?! Precious babies!

Precious
Jason and I walked into the breakfast room tonight and found this:

Labor Day Weekend
We enjoyed a relaxing Labor Day weekend at Darden! Saturday was mostly warm and sunny, and we had a great time outside. However, the rain started yesterday morning and JUST ended a few hours ago-nearly two straight days of rain! We needed it so bad, and enjoyed lots of sitting, talking, eating, playing games and relaxing! The temps. are now so much cooler-such a nice change! Here's a few photos from our weekend. We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day, too!

Back to School
John and Elizabeth had a fun time last Thursday at FUMC's Preschool Open House! We took their supplies, visited their teachers and they got to explore their rooms. They start back to school tomorrow!
John is in the Young Twos class with Mrs. Debbie, Mrs. Nicole and Mrs. Kelly, who will be there while Nicole is on maternity leave this semester. He had a ball playing in his new room, especially in the kitchen and with the farm animals!
Here are the attempts at a photo with his sweet teachers.

Most of his classmates are returning from last year, with a few new friends as well. It will be a great year!
Elizabeth is right at home in the nursery, where she goes on Sundays and Wednesday nights as well.
She is with Mrs. Joan and Mrs. Jennifer again, the same sweet teachers she had in the summer.
They are going to follow a little curriculum with the babies as well-I love that! She will see a lot of her friends in the nursery, as well as a few new ones, too! We are also very happy that Boss will have a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays to herself!

Birthday, Sam's and School
We enjoyed spending the morning with Andrew yesterday to celebrate his second birthday!
John and his birthday buddy after a little game of football.
Elizabeth enjoyed playing Andrew's piano-making the grandmothers proud!
We ended our outing with a little Sam's trip. Then it was time to head home for naps and to get ready for the week!
We have had a busy few weeks with school starting. Jason and I are both having a great year so far...he has a lot of great students and my class is absolutely precious! They are SO excited to be in Pre-K and are ready to learn-I even have a few writing and ready to read!!! We both hope the rest of the year continues as good as it has started! John and Elizabeth start back to school the Tuesday after Labor Day...this weekend we are looking forward to a little rest and relaxation at Darden. After that, we will be celebrating a sweet girl's first birthday...check back for posts soon!

Sunday School Promotion
A few weeks ago John was promoted to the 2 year old Sunday School class. He missed the following Sunday because he and E. had had fever off and on a couple of days before. He had a great time last Sunday for his first real day of Sunday School!
He was also promoted to the toddler nursery, where he goes after Sunday School while we are in church. Although he was pretty uncooperative for this photo, he loves the sweet ladies in there, Ms. Deborah and Ms. Sandra. They are so loving!
Did you notice his busted chin? He had a little collision in SS with a toy!
Elizabeth has been going to the infant nursery since she was two weeks old. I had never gotten a photo with the precious ladies in there, but grabbed one last week. Please notice her mouth-she has this new expression where she makes her eyes big and her mouth in an "O"-also, don't you love her toes escaping her sandal??? She is a busy little girl!!!
We love Ms. Jamila, Ms. Bridgett and Ms. Martha. Sweethearts!!!
