Friday Night Lights from a Different Perspective

This year Jason is taking a break from coaching. It has been kind of nice for him to be able to slow down a little, and we LOVE having him home so much more! He does have to work at every home game, but it's nothing like when he coached. Mom and I took John and Elizabeth for a little bit to last Friday night's Homecoming game.

On a different note, this is a picture I made when we ate at Danver's before the game. John is starting to not sit in a high chair when we go out to eat. He sometimes uses a booster, but not always. He's doing great with learning to stay in his seat-our sweet boy (and baby girl) are growing up TOO FAST!!!

Fire Truck Visit to Preschool

The fire truck recently visited the preschool at church! Last year, John's toddler class saw it just from the outside, but this year these big two year olds got to go inside for the first time-he LOVED it, of course!

Piano Duet

We recently moved the piano that was at Jason's grandfather's house to our home. I am so excited we have one now, and hope both John and Elizabeth learn to play. So far it is a hit!

Halloween is on Its Way!

Here are my attempts to get a photo of John and Elizabeth in their Halloween pjs and matching outfits!

Celebrating with Lauren

Lauren turned 7 on September 30th! We celebrated with her and other family at Don Julio, a fabulous new restaurant here. John and Elizabeth had a great time, as you can see!
