Outside Fun

We have had a wonderful start to school, and the weather has been so nice-you can actually breathe outside in mid-August! John has gotten some good bicycle practice in, and of course Elizabeth thinks she is ready to ride, too!

Miss Priss

I heard Elizabeth in my closet yesterday, and this is what I found!

Happy Birthday, Boss!

We had a wonderful time celebrating with Boss on Tuesday for her birthday. We took her to supper at the Grill and came home for cupcakes and presents. We are so thankful for her and all she does for us! We love you, Boss!

Visiting Daddy's Classroom

We visited Jason's classroom this afternoon. He was putting the finishing touches on everything before school begins tomorrow. He is teaching STEM for the first time this year, and is looking forward to it. I know he'll do a great job-John and Elizabeth made sure the room is ready!

Sweet Words

John and Elizabeth are saying some of the funniest things right now. Speech over the past year has been nothing short of amazing for John-his vocabulary and sentence structure have come SO far, and I can't wait to see where he is this time next year after speech at ECEC. He is also so mannerly, always saying "Please", "thank you", and even "no thank you" sometimes. We are still making sure "Yes mam" and "Yes sir" are part of our vocabulary. Elizabeth is just exploding with new words every day. We really think she just came here talking. She is getting her manners down, too-that is so important to us. They are both have a few funnies that they've said recently, and I didn't want to forget them. John: Me-"John, did you have a check up at the doctor today?" John-"Yes, I did good at my catch up." "Come sit here up, Mama" instead of "Come sit up here." Also, spaghetti is apaghetti. Elizabeth: Cookies are Kee koos and toes are pibbies, instead of piggies. She is sooooo into singing, twirling and dancing right now. We are definitely a girly girl!
