Happy Mother's Day!

We hope everyone celebrated a wonderful Mother's Day! We are so blessed to have the best two moms in the world.

I am looking so forward to becoming a mother in a couple of months to the sweet boy in the photo below!

Couple's Shower

Last night we had our couple's shower with our friends Tracy and Bill Behm. The Behms are expecting a girl, Ellie, a couple of weeks before John is due. We know Ellie and John will enjoy growing up together. Our sweet friends threw us a wonderful shower, complete with cute pink and blue initial cookies! Thank you all for such a fun night!

Walker's 1st Birthday

Our sweet nephew, Walker, celebrated his first birthday yesteray! Walker was born last May with a cleft lip and palate. Instead of gifts, his parents asked for donations to Smile Train, which provides surgeries to children born with cleft lips and palates. Over $2,000 was raised during Walker's party to help children like him! It was a wonderful afternoon, and we are so proud to be his aunt and uncle. He has another surgery coming up this week, so please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers!

Key West

We traveled to Key West on April 30th for a fabulous wedding weekend! Jason was in his friend Haywood's wedding, which was beautiful. We had a great long weekend, visiting such places as Mallory Square at sunset, Duval St., Hemingway's home, and more. If you haven't been to Key West, and ever have the opportunity to go, you must-it is wonderful! Thank you, Lisa and Haywood for such a great wedding weekend!

Joyner Shower

On April 29th, I had my second baby shower at Joyner. Once again, we received so many wonderful gifts, all of which will be so great to have once John arrives. It was a fun afternoon with friends!

(I really do have more clothing than the green shirt I happened to wear to both school showers!)
