Seven Months

John was seven months old last Saturday-how time is flying! He sits completely on his own now and is trying so hard to crawl. He manages to scoot and pull himself all around and can army crawl just a bit. He is moving on to second foods and is still a great eater. He only has his two teeth he's had for a couple of months, but drools constantly, so we think more are on the way! He loves to laugh, and no one can make him do so quite like his dad. He is nothing but joy!

John's Announcement

John is excited to announce he is going to be a big brother in September! A little earlier than we expected, but we are thrilled.

Roll Over, Roll Over

Since John has learned to roll from his back to his tummy (which happened about two weeks ago) he has been going non-stop! The second we put him on his activity mat, he flips and is so proud of himself. He is trying to figure out how to use his arms and legs to get moving-he knows there's something he's supposed to do, but just can't quite put it all together yet. We're not rushing it; we know once he does, our life will definitely change!

Our progress in the sitting up department improves each day! John can sit for about ten seconds now before rolling to one side. He continues to prop himself on his hands out front, and loves for us to sit behind him to help support so he can play.

Let It Snow!

We had a wonderful (and short) time outside earlier today playing in the snow. John looked around in amazement, trying to take it all in-he loved it! What a fun day at home!
