Goodbye belly button cord, hello bath! John had his first bath last night after his cord stump fell off. He took to it like a little fish! He looked somewhat puzzled at first, then relaxed and loved it. He seemed so happy to finally be getting cleaned by a real bath, not just washcloths anymore. The only time he cried was when Jason took him out of the water. However, he loved being wrapped in the towel and drying off afterwards. As you can see, the finished product slept well. We definitely think we have a water baby on our hands!
