John and Elizabeth enjoyed watching the race!
We also enjoyed Lauren's dance recital a few weeks ago. She was wonderful-we can't wait for her to teach Elizabeth how to dance! She had the lead in her piece and did a great job!
That same afternoon we went to our friend's daughter's birthday party. Dixie was a cowgirl at her birthday roundup-everyone had a great time!
Dixie, the sweet birthday girl!
Taking it all in.
That night we helped host a farwell fiesta for our friends Tracy and Bill Behm who are moving to Virginia later this month. I didn't get any photos during the party, but made this one before of some of the decorations and the precious cupcakes that said Adios! We will miss the Behms (their daughter, Ellie, is three weeks older than John and has been in his class at playschool) but are excited for them!
My cousin Coleman graduated from Lee Academy a couple of weeks ago. I can't BELIEVE he is old enough to be out of high school! He is going to State in the fall-we are so excited for him and know he'll do great!
John also graduated (ha!) from his first year of playschool a couple of weeks ago! He had a wonderful year with Mrs. Sherri and Mrs. Kim. He and Elizabeth will both attend this summer starting June 20th for Summer Fun Days, and they will both be back in the fall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, after Labor Day.
This was John the first day of playschool last September with Mrs. Sherri and Mrs. Kim.
Jason ended the school year last Friday and yesterday was my official start to summer! He is working with the Natchez Trace on their curriculum this summer and preparing to begin his National Boards in the fall. I am enjoying spending LOTS of time with the babies. It looks to be a great summer-we hope yours is too!!!
