The Older Sister I Never Had

My family has a lot of members-but thankfully, we are close, and extended family doesn't feel extended at all. I am an only child, so my cousins were always like my brothers and sisters. My cousin Leigh is definitely like my older sister. We have always been close, and been through a lot together. I am posting about her today because I would LOVE for her to find a new friendship (or maybe more???) through Kelly's Korner's Show Us Your Life-Singles Over 40 edition. Leigh lives in Clarksdale, MS has taught elementary school for 23 years. She is currently working on her National Boards. Leigh is 43 years old. Her boys, Coleman and Miller, are her life. Coleman is a freshman at Mississippi State University and Miller is a sophomore at Lee Academy in Clarksdale. When Leigh is not busy with her boys and all of their activities (college and high school life, and pretty much all sports-especially FOOTBALL!) she is involved in her church, Oakhurst Baptist. This is a picture of Leigh last spring with my daughter, Elizabeth. She is known to my children as Aunt Leigh! If you would like to get in touch with Leigh, just email me at kepannell@hotmail.com or leave a comment. Have a great day!

What a nice post about your cousin Leigh. I swear the nicest people live in Tupelo, Mississippi. I have "met" several on my blog and each one of them is the sweetest!

Your children are precious! I pray that your cousin makes a connection with someone special! She is so pretty and I can bet that she is as nice as she is attractive!

Thank you! She is wonderful. Went through a lot a few years ago when her husband left. We've made it though! Tupelo is great...hoping she'll move here when her youngest son graduates in a couple of years! Have a great weekend!

I knew of Leigh when I worked at the hospital in Clarksdale. I babysat for Tim and Dana Mitchell. I wish her all the best. She deserves happiness!!
