John's Class Egg Hunt

John and his sweet classmates had their Easter party and egg hunt last Thursday. He was so funny-he would find an egg, pick it up, maybe shake it-then decide whether to keep it or put it back! They were all so precious and had a fun day!

Spring Break Fun

Whew! Life has been SUPER busy since Spring Break a couple of weeks ago! We had a wonderful week...we started off by taking Elizabeth for her first hair cut with Mrs. Claire. She just needed a little shaping up in places, and she did SO good-she is definitely a girly girl, and loves having her hair done!A sucker makes everything better!Sweet Mrs. Claire, who is always SO patient with John and Elizabeth (and who is fabulous, too!)
On Tuesday of Spring Break week, we headed to Memphis to visit family, do a little shopping and our first family trip to the zoo! We had the best time!John's requests were to see the zebras, monkeys and polar bears, which he loved! Elizabeth loved the big cats-lions were her favorite!What WAY too much fun looks like...Happy girl!Pure sweetness on the way home.We had fun wearing our green on St. Patrick's Day!Lately we have just been busy winding down the school year, working on projects around the house and yard, and getting ready to celebrate Easter soon! John and Elizabeth have had so much fun hiding eggs, hiding things in eggs, and rolling them down the hallway!We are also just resting up for a busy and fun summer!

Birthday Fun!!!

Last Saturday John had three birthday parties-a new record for us! Elizabeth joined in on the last one as well. Happy Birthday to three sweet girls-Francis, Elle and Meg!John LOVED the "big teeth" at Healthworks! He is still talking about them!All John wanted to do at Elle's party was play basketball...her sweet dad definitely got his workout picking John up over and over. John was like a machine in this bouncy castle-he wouldn't even stop to eat a cupcake! Miss E. loved "riding" a tricycle at Meg's party-such a big girl! She liked jumping in the little bouncer some, too.

On a different note...John has definitely been adventuresome lately! I looked at him on the monitor the other night and saw this: Sweet boy!
Then tonight, I found this after I put Elizabeth to bed: At least his hands were clean!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We started Valentine's Day off with a fun breakfast and opening a few gifts from us, Boss and Bo and Big Daddy. After that, it was off to school! Boss and I had fun helping with John's Valentine party (Elizabeth even had a mini cupcake in the nursery,too!) We left preschool to pick up pizza and head to my school, where Boss stayed to eat lunch with my class. Tonight we went to eat at a new Mexican restaurant...we had a happy Valentine's Day and hope you did, too!
