Last Tuesday we celebrated Mardi Gras at the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at church. It was also a fundraiser for the youth's summer mission trip; youth were "auctioned" off for odd jobs such as yard work or babysitting! John was so young last year during this time, but greatly enjoyed his pancakes and french toast at this year's celebration! Lauren made him a Mardi Gras mask, but we couldn't get him to wear it. Elizabeth enjoyed being there, as always.
Our church had a beautiful Ash Wednesday service the following evening. It's hard to believe this time of year is already here!
